Basic Appearance: Mosi is a grey-green in color, his pelt easily blending into the shadows of his native land. He has large ears (some might say overly large for his body size) and a scruffy face, adding to his natural charm. A dark olive-grey color lines his inner ears and around his eyes, which are topped by a set of scruffy, bushy eyebrows. His back is arched like the rest of his species, and he possesses a short mane of black hair on his back. His feet and half of his legs are black as well, which match the small amount of spots he possesses. Mosi’s nose is rather large, taking up the majority of his muzzle, which is the same color as his belly (a muted grey). His muzzle has whisker dots on either side. The top of his head, like mentioned before, has a rough and messy patch of fur that matches his main pelt color. His body type is solid, like all hyena, but he is small compared to the others in terms of muscle weight.

Personality and Past


Personality: Socially awkward, Mosi is extremely submissive…even more so than normal hyena males. He’s deathly afraid of females and the strength and power they hold, and avoids them when possible. The only female he tolerates without stuttering into silence is his mother, whom he follows blindly. His mother is the light of his life, and he would rather die than disappoint her. Most of the time during pack meetings, he sticks close by her side, unsure of where he stands in the rankings due to his near invisible nature. He’s even skittish with other males, afraid that they’ll kill him if he steps the wrong way or says the wrong thing. Because of his cowardly nature, Mosi rarely talks, and keeps his thoughts and opinions to himself. Which is a shame, because if anyone were to see what lied beneath the skittish surface, they would discover that Mosi is a romantic, a pure hopeless male who only wants a peaceful life with a mate and pups? This is an odd trait in a hyena, which is why Mosi rarely speaks his mind; the one time he shared his desires with his mother, she beat him until he was bloody, and threatened his life if he ever spoke of such frivolous nonsense again. So Mosi remains silent and odd, an outcast within his own clan. Still, his innermost thoughts and desires reflect a hopeless romantic lost in a world of heartless killers. He hopes to one day escape the clan life, but knows deep within his heart that this could never happen… he refuses to leave his mother, for fear of the female banishing him from her life.

Dislikes: most females, feeling afraid, The Shadowlands, fears drowning

History: The only thing to note is that Mosi once saw a pup drown in the deep waters of the Murky Lake, when he was just a small pup himself. This has instilled in him a great fear of the water and drowning, and tries to stay away from the waters unless he’s thirsty or with his mother.
