Personality: Kinyaa is a kind but tough lioness. She is very protective of her friends and family. She is especially protective of her cub Nassati. She enjoys the company of others. She has grown up to be a mighty huntress and an amazing fighter. She longs for a Mate. One that will treat her kindly. She also searches for great friendship.

History: Kinyaa was born a defect, a runt of her litter. Teased and picked on by her brothers and sisters she had a hard life and little chance of reaching adulthood. Even Kinyaa’s own mother had little care for the cub and even less hope. Kinyaa couldn’t keep up well with the others as they traveled and became a danger to her family. One dark starless night her mother awoke the other cubs but let Kinyaa sleep. It began to rain and the mother waited to make sure the runt would not awaken. Seeing the cub was undisturbed, the mother abandoned Kinyaa. The poor cub awoke harshly to the crack of thunder. Frightened she searched for her mother, but she was alone. She then knew life was against her.
Somehow she survived. She learned how to prey upon insects, reptiles, and other small animals as a cub. When Kinyaa reached her teen ages, the small food she found easy to find could no longer sustain her. It was hard, and many times she failed, but she learned how to hunt. She stayed far from Pride Rock but could look upon its majesty anywhere she traveled. This became her symbol of hope. She vowed to live long enough to one day stand in front of the royal stone.
As she grew, the ess realized she wanted cubs. Her first season came to her and she found a mate. His name was Nahaja. The had a cub. A male named Nassati. The rest were born female. Nahaja was upset by this. As the cubs grew he became annoyed. He slaughtered the females to cause Kinyaa into heat again. He then forced her multiple times to make sure she’d have a second litter. Kinyaa turned on him and Nahaja left her near dead. Her story begins now, after this Tragedy.
