Livin' the life of a Badass Sitting, waiting, tik tok goes the clock as the day drags on. Two brute rested on a soft, packed in termite hill. The clear oldest claimed the top, and his almost look alike rest in the grass. Pedro's large paws laid infront of him, his tail flickered around kicking up a small amount of dust. To his right was a carcess of a lone wildabeest that made a wrong turn. Poor thing got lost from it's herd and ran into to dark colored brutes. Now I'm sure you know the out come of this little tail. The brute, Pedro, who's coat swung a little more to the gray side flexed his claws. Ranking up dirt as his eyes scanned the horizon. Wandering into a new pride always made him a little weary. Yet his all to cool brother just layed calm and relaxed. Rolegio has his paws crossed, and his neatly groomed mane rustled in the light breeze. His noise twitched, trying to pick up any smell he could. Of course his brother was doing the same, looking for any lone female he could husstle. Chuckling the brute stood up. Stretching his frame out as he looked at his brother. "And what do we hope to complase here?"

The pridelands had always been her home. From the time she was but a newborn she had roamed these lands happily. She had often babysat young Simba, had respected Mufassa. These days, she was not so happy. She feared Scar and the way he was acting, wished that she could turn back time and stop Simba and Mufassa going into the gorge, but she could not. Her tassel flicked and she continued moving on alone, which was nothing abnormal these days. She rarely went near pride rock and so rarely saw the other females which was a shame as she would soon be a full-grown. Already she had experienced her first season and she was sure another was drawing closer. But what did that matter now? She would never be a full member of this pride as long as Scar ruled. Scents hit her nares and golden-brown orbrs scanned the lands. She could see nothing but it was not unusual for others to be scented before being seen. Males, strangers. Perhaps they could save these lands. Smiling, young Zesiro altered her course to move in the direction of the scents. When they first came into view she stopped and watched them. A soft growl rolled in her throat and teeth bared slightly. As much as she was pleasued of newcomers and, therefore, company, she was not comfortable around strangers and never had been. She tensed, nervously approaching the new males. "Who are you?" she demanded.

Rogelio raised his eyebrow, waiting quietly for his brother to answer. "Come now my brothern, you didn't come here for no reason now did you?" he chuckled lightly. The brute growled lowly, his jaw clenched tight. Huffing, he rolled his orbs murky green orbs. "Of course I did. We'll just try and stay here for the dry season. This place seems nice enough, maybe the watering hole won't dry out," he said thinking. "It was truely a pain to stay in the musty forest." Sarcasmic eyes glanced at him, "Are you sure that was the forest? You didn't smell that plesent to me, try and keep yourself up more, then maybe you can get some female company that you have been longing for." Pedro bared his daggers, standing to his full height. The two brothers far past Mufasa in size and were a force to be ricking with, yet Rogelio saw him as no threat. "You'll learn to hold your tounge around me boy! Remember, I'm still your elder in this little group," with a harrasser tone he spat, "I'd bet you'd like for me to smell all nice and sweet wouldn't you preccy boy." Rolling his eyes he stood too, "This pressy boy can get more tail than you can in a month, any way we have company." Rogelio's relaxed form struted towards the lioness that just showed up, what a nice suprise since he thought this lands was a freemen land.
His shimmering eyes, looked towards the lioness not to much younger than himself. Rogelio, being the good gentleman from south of the boarder bowed to the fea. Lifting his paw almost as tho' he was tipping his hat. With a soft smile he annouced himself, "Hello, I am Rogelio not from this lands. This is my brother Pedro, and we are both sorry if we were treading on other's land." His sweet, smooth latin voice followed softly, amost having a mellady to it. Pedro pushed aside his brother, "I'm sorry for his politeness, you know who those gays can get. Right, brother," he said with a low hiss under his breath. The darker brute stepped to the side, putting Rolegio in his shadow. "And now who are you?" he asked with none of the niceness of his brother. Rogelio just chuckled and shrugged away from him, sitting down as he put space between them.

Zesiro was wary of the newcomers and new she probably had not been wise to face them alone but she knew the others were probably too busy kissing Scar's paws to even care. Well, they wouldn't care until the strangers were right on the doorstep anyway. Then it would be 'oh my, the cubs aren't allowed in... They'll kill them'... Idiots. As loyal as she was to the pride everything that had gone on since Mufassa's death angered her. If Scar was going to kill the cubs he should have just done it instead of being 'merciful' and letting them die off slowly. It was tearing the hearts out of the pride and the others... They just let him do it! Hence, as uncomfortablt as she was with them being male, and strangers, she decided they were the best company on offer. But she had to try and let them know their place first. She watched their pair bicker, amused by it as it reminded her of how she and her twin had been all that time ago. In a way she was saddened by the movement of her family but, in the end, she knew it was the best course of action. Staying here appeared to have been a terrible mistake by any standards. She gazed past them at the savannah which had been her cub-hood playground and then turned back to the brothers. "It is nice to meet you Pedro and Rogelio and as long as you stay away from pride rock and the birthing grounds I don't see you being challenged by any other than me." she told them in her soft voice, so rarely heard these days as company became harder and harder to come by. She shook her head, the fringe moving as she did and moved closer to them warily. "I am Zesiro, a huntress in these lands about to grace adulthood. I have trod here all my life and know where you can find anything you may need... Well, almost anything anyway. Is there perhaps any way in which I may help you?" she hoped she was not making a mistake by pushing back her instinct to run and being nice to these males but she could not shake the sense of foreboding that smothered her.

Pedro nodded, "We will try to keep from those-" He was cut off, his brother once more stepping past him. "We will keep away from those areas. It's a pleasure to meet you my' lady." His eyes wandered across the lands, looking at each tree and every rock. This should be an okay place to stay for now, even though he preferred the jungle to the hot sun. "May I ask, if this is a pride, why isn't the mail marking. We've been here for a couple days, yet no one has ran us off?" Rogelio asked. Pedro laughed, evil eyes shining. His younger brother picked up on were he was going to, he growled and stocked away sitting a few feet away. "I'm sure if the King was any kind of man, he wouldn't be looking for one," he said chuckling. "We're fine, we just came to find a new place to reside during the dry season, that's all," he said nodding once. He flicked his tail lightly as he sat back on his haunches.

Faraja was one of the few lionesses that refused to kiss Scar’s paws. She would rather be exiled then deal with his pompous attitude, however she minded her manners most of the time—because of her cub Ahadi. As a mother she wanted the very best for her only cub, and so she decided to just make herself scarce around pride rock and other social places. Only a few weeks ago did a bad fight happen between her and Uru, and that had irked the King severely. Luckily she had escaped and had avoided them since. Even though Scar was her half brother she did not consider him to be her family, nor did she consider the former Queen to be. She hated them both, and was actively looking for a way to cause more chaos amongst the pride. Her eyes flashed tiredly as she walked along, the hot sun beating down across her back. However, her walk was interrupted by the unfamiliar scent of males, and grew curious. If they were also rogue then perhaps she could convince them to rally against the King.
Pushing through the golden grass the yellow coated beauty saw the two males and one of her pride sisters. She over heard their conversation and scoffed quietly as the males chastised the new King. Of course she agreed with them, what sort of ruler was he to not mark the boundaries. Raising her tail a bit she marched forward green eyes glistening with quiet appreciation and even a wee bit of lust. Coming to a stop the lioness looked around for a moment, making sure that the King wasn’t coming or any of his hyena slackers.
Feeling reassured she breathed in their scent more deeply. “The King has no need to do such things. He has an entire hyena clan to back him up, should things get pushy he calls on them to do his dirty business.” Faraja huffed out softly, her gaze turning towards the other lioness, a small smile crossing her face before she lightly bumped her shoulder with her head. A gentle greeting, since she was friendly to all lionesses except for Uru.
“I am Faraja... and who might you two be..” Her voice deepened into a husky purr, her body language screamed lustful intentions as she stepped forward to run her body across the two males, purring as she did so. You could say she was rather slutty, but being that she had only one cub and a second season was coming upon her, can you blame her? She wasn’t about to mate with Scar.

The lioness still felt somewhat uncomfortable being alone with the two strangers. They were unknown and potentially dangerous and she could not help but picture her own mangled body being found by the king's lackey hyena. A shiver ran down her spine at the thought but she hid the worry well, though still watching the newcomers with a wary eye. At this proximity there would be little chance should they decide to attack her, though it did not seem to be their plan. Still, she did not wish to push their limits.
She watched as again the younger of the brothers was overpowered by the older and held back a slight chuckle, watching them, her tassle flicking in a rare moment of happiness. She was about to answer the cuious questions of the males when Faraja appeared. Zesiro wearily returned the gentle nudge and watched the older of the brothers. Though less handsome he seemed more... Masculine... Than the other.
"Faraja," she purred happily. "These two males claim to be called Pedro and Rogelio." she was happy to inform the other who she had also noted keeping away from pride rock. "They are rogues, seeking canctuary in the dry season. I was about to offer them a tour. As long as we keep an eye out for scum we should be able to pass safely, don't you think?" she sought an ok from the older female who had been a constant presence in her life though had never been so pronounced as Mufassa.

Pedro looked to the new golden beauty to join this little conversation. He again nodded towards the new lioness, "What kind of ruler hides behind mutts." Vemon slide through his teeth on the last word. Never did care to much for those things. Pedro was a man that settled on having gun power over brain power, finding it much easier in life just to relie on his battle skill. If this male was so weak that he had to hind behind hyenas, than in Pedro's mind had no right to rule over such lands. The eldest male's mind rested on Faraja as she rubbed past him. "Well hello Faraja," he said with a smile. Rogelio let the golden lion brush past him, not really catching his mind like it did his brother's. Oh Pedro, how you'll act so suddenly to any sign of affection. The slimmer male, almost with a surfers body, stood. Bowing to her just like the first, "Pleasure to meet you, too, my lady. And a tour would be wonderful Lady Zesiro," he said using his light voice.

Learning that the male’s wanted to stay in the territory during the dry season made a small smile cross her beautiful face. That was perfect, it gave her plenty of time to try and convince them to over throw Scar and set things right again. It wouldn’t be easy convincing the other lionesses to accept them as Kings, but in her mind anyone was better than Scar. Her ears twitched at the male’s response and a hollow laugh bubbled out of her lips. Indeed the King was a coward, hiding behind the hyena during the hard times. As she finished her greeting the lioness stepped away from the two male’s, delighted that her pride sister had found so much potential. The idea of going on a tour was probably a good one, they needed to know where things were. Possibly where to hide should the hyena’s catch wind of them. The lead bitch of the clan did not have to ask for direct orders from the King on those maters and would show up with her dogs to either chase or kill the males. Faraja knew they had to be careful if things were going to work out right.
“A tour would be fine. I’m sure these two are rather thirsty anyway.”
She stated absently and gave her pride sister a smile. The lioness was a bit younger then her, but she has never seen any real fault in Zesiro. Turning her attention back on the two males she continued to murr softly, chest rumbling with distinct happiness. Being the only daughter of her late father, she was very special around these parts. One of a kind, no other lioness in the pride looked even remotely like her.
“Perhaps later when the sun sets we can hunt for these two. No doubt their hungry, and you need the practice anyway.”
With that said the yellow coated female started to walk off towards the watering hole, figuring that was the best place to start.

Her tassel flicked playfully, her eyes bright. It seemed she had found herself a nice little group to stay with. The males made a nice change from Scar and Faraja had always been a novelty to her, being the sister of Scar and Mufassa but disowned by both Scar and his stubborn mother. Not that she had any argument with Uru, she just thought the old bat was too stuck in her ways. "Scar is not a king, he is a parasite in need of killing." Zesiro told the males with scorn in her voice. "He hides behind the hyena because they're his only defense." she sighed. "The pride crowd around him because they need a king and he's the only male left of the royal bloodline. Well, except young Ahadi and he is a little young." Her purple eyes scanned the horizon, suspicious that the hyena could be lurking anywhere. Hearing the consent from the group to her suggestion of a tour she smiled and nodded, walking a little and looking back. "I though we could start at the watering hole, go in a big circle and end up here again. That way they can see the lands, get water and then, as you say, we can hunt. It has been a while since I hunted with the other lionesses after all." she said brightly, rubbing against Pedro though she was secretly liking Rogelio more.

Rogelio flicked his tail turning to Faraja, "If you do hunt, I'll be happy to help. I'm not as clumsy as most males when it comes to hunting, I promise I shall not get in the way." Pedro rolled his eyes as he started to walk along with the two females. How he didn't under stand how his brother could be so caring, always thinking of others. "What kind of gentleman would I be if I just let you two hunt when I'm truspassing on your home truff," Rogelio smiled as he followed them to the watering hole. Pedro turned his attention to the little lioness beside him, chuckling at the comment of the ruler of these lands. "I think me and Rogelio can help out with that little problem for you," he said looking towards his brother. His younger brother nodded and to smiled. "Anyway, a tour sounds like a good idea," Pedro spoke as he nuzzled Zesiro's neck. Rogelio flicked his tassil through the grass as he wandered on beside Faraja.

It felt good to be around decent company for a change, being that she spent most of her time either with Rafiki at his tree or with the cubs. However, the shaman of the pride lands really wasn’t up to seeing a lot of company and had politely asked her to leave for a few days. He needed time to grieve for Mufasa and the young prince, and she respected him enough as a friend to not become a burden. Though it saddened her that the wise mystic was taking their deaths so very hard, but they all were. In their own ways the entire pride was in a deep period of mourning. Emerald eyes scanned the horizon absently as they small group began their walk. She knew that with each passing day she was treading on thin ice with the King, he hated her. Scar had always loathed her even when they were cubs, and that hatred only seemed to grow with each day. Faraja was a thorn in his side, and very aware that he was probably the sole cause for Mufasa’s untimely demise. Drawing in a deep breath the beautiful lioness looked at her newly found friends. Zesiro was a nice young lioness, and she hoped to become closer to her now that they were outcasts.
“We probably shouldn’t speak about the King so openly, he had ears everywhere. The last thing he want is for him to take it the wrong way—I don’t really want to be attacked by a large horde of hyena..”
She knew her half brother would not take kindly to treason. Not at all. She exhaled soundlessly and glanced over at Rogelio, he seemed like a good natured lion. Offering to hunt with them, when most males would just lay back and wait for a good meal. Leaning her head into the breeze, she felt her bangs lift from her forehead, tickling her face. Absently she wrinkled her nose and sneezed, trying to rid herself of that ticklish feeling.
“So what kind of prey do you guys like. The pridelands has just about everything..”
It was good to have idle chit chat.

Zesiro smiled at Pedro as he nuzzled her neck, purring slightly as it arched until Faraja spoke of her foolishness for being so open about her feelings regarding Scar. The female sighed, shaking her head as she stared across the lands with empty eyes for a moment. "If we cannot speak freely he has won, we are like prisoners to him faraja and I am tired of it." she told the other as she continued forwards, tassel tapping Pedro's side playfully. Still young she did occasionally have such moments but Scar's reign had taken most of that away.
"For the four of us isn't it best to take down Zebra, or a wildebeast. Then we can each take our fill. I am most tired of antelope as hunting alone makes them aboutthe only thing I've had to eat of late." She said, hoping one of the males would like such an idea. "Plus, we can't really take down hippo or elephant alone."
She smiled as she pushed more serious thoughts from her mind again, happier with the safety of the males than she had been alone, and with the thought that perhaps they could be their saviours from the current circumstances. She doubted that they could take on the king and his minions alone but still, until their numbers had grown they could go somewhere else.
