The lioness walked through the lands. Keeping away from the pride for the past couple of days, just wanting to be alone. She stayed close to leopard rock, with her hunt skills, she could easily feed herself. Hunting around sunset and in the early morning, to mostly aviod running into anyone. Rahadi was just a darker version of Sarabi. They shared the same strong frame, but fair figure and facial features. The younger lioness always looked up to Sarabi when she was a cub, and they are very close. The queens younger half would never stray to far from her side, because she enjoyed her company and looked up to her. It was actual very cute. Her body curved around the rocks as she stayed close to the side. Brushing her raised tail against it, trying to relieve an itch. It drawed closer to sunset, the sun only having to move a few more dials before it started to set behind the harizon. Yawning, her roar swipt over the land as she walked up the side of Leopard Rock. It was a flat slope of crumbled rocks, not as steep. Which made it very easy for a lion to climb. Her paws moved over the rocks, using her tail to keep her balance. Rahadi watched leopards, and she perfected her on method of scaling the rocky faces. Soon becoming an expert at it, she could almost becalled a leopard herself. Her light green, almost swampy green orbs swipt over the lands. She looking over towards the wateringhole on a ledge, it wasn't that far away. Everonce and awhile she made little sprints to it, just to take a swim or bath. The dark colored lioness layed lightly over to low raised ledge that she rested apon. Rahadi wanted some company, it didn't matter who. To her anyone would do just fine.

It was still taking some getting used to, being the ruler of this magnificent land. Unlike the previous Kings, he was truly a nocturnal creature. He was not afraid of the dark and truly he embraced the night whenever he had the chance to do so. Green eye’s glistened in the shadow as the lion continued to walk his territory. There were many things he had yet to do—and most of them were unsightly. For example, he had to go over the many territory markers and rid them of Mufasa’s scent. Which weirdly enough bothered him more than tossing him from that cliff face. A heavy sigh escaped him as he walked along, mindless to his surroundings. As he approached the vast expanse of the leopard rocks, he smelled a familiar scent. A lioness, out here? Most of the females huddled up together in the den at night, so she peeked his curiosity. Calmly he approached the large rock and chuffed softly, wondering who was hiding up there. Maybe it was good company and not bad? Finding a well used path way, the lion easily leapt up onto the rocks.
Following the scent he realized who it was. Rahadi. She was always a kind lioness and was good company to him. When he was a cub and was hurting she would often stay behind and make him feel better. Scar genuinely liked her, and thought that she was quite a beautiful lioness as well. Finding her there, he silently took a seat beside her, his eyes looking around at the land he now called his.
“Rahadi I surprised to see you out here alone..”
He murmured quietly and looked over at her in the darkness. She sure did look ravishing in the starlight, but he kept his thoughts entirely to himself. The last thing he wanted was to be overbearing towards her, one of his friends. After all most of the lionesses in the pride were mourning for his brother, why would he try to weasel his way in to her heart. They needed time to get over the former King and he was willing to wait for his own set of cubs to be born.
After all he wasn’t entirely a monster.

Flicking her dark brown tassil, around she just rested. To her, getting the time to relax, and to take her mind off of things were just a simple pleasure. The death of the King did hurt her, knowing she had lost one of her cub hood friends. Yet, Rahadi was never close to him, always spending time with Taka instead. Other than that she still considered him a friend. Then their was the loose of her newphew, who she happly cubsitted when Sarabi had to go off and do other things. It hurt her not to be able to see is cute little innocent features anymore. Rahadi would always have the two in her heart, but she rather not dwindle on the heart breaking past. Trying to move on, this was why she left the main pride. So she couldn't be reminded of her loses. Her eyes blinked out of her daydreaming, just as the scent of Scar floated up into her noise. A soft smile found her face as she glanced up at him. Greating him with a nod. Hello Taka. she said. I just felt like being on my own for a little bit, trying to get away from all the heartbreak, you know. It's no surprise to see you though, I was hoping I could find you. It's been awhile since we've had a conversation. No one, not even her sister knew of the fondness she has over Taka. In her eyes, he was just barried in heartbreak, just wanting someone to love him. Rahadi never did like Ahadi for the fact that he refused Scar, it just didn't seem just to her. Even as a cub she knew that you should treat people better, especially your own blood. Not at all did she find him creepy, she tended to over look that unlike the rest of the lionesses. Sitting up on her haunchs, she looked back at him. I've really missed your company Taka/ she said as she nuzzled closer to him.

One ear flickered idly as she mentioned the heartbreak the entire pride seemed to be experiencing. Indeed things were rather tragic weren’t they? The untimely death of the king and even worse the death of his young son too. Indeed he heard a lot of mournful cries in the last few days and surely they wouldn’t be letting up for quite some time. He found it to be rather annoying but that was something that was hidden away. The only time he dared to complain was when he was speaking too Shenzi. She was the only one he could confide in anyway, and that was probably how it would remain. Though he felt annoyance with his pride, he did not push them to get over Mufasa, for that would seem weird. After all he had to play the part of a grieving brother. Forcing a sigh out into the night air, he turned his eyes onto Rahadi. He tried his best to look sad and act it for that matter.
“Indeed pride rock is a sad place isn’t it. I hope someday the pride can experience happiness again. How I pray everyone will accept me eventually.”
His voice was a sad whisper, cracking a bit as he felt the lioness move closer to him. Her warmth was welcomed and he closed his eyes as she pushed closer to him. It felt nice to feel wanted. Leaning his head down he placed it slowly ontop of hers, his body shielding hers from the chilly night time air.
“I’ve missed talking to you as well Rahadi, how have you been besides this..tragedy?”
Scar questioned her quietly, his voice still soft and sad. He did enjoy her company and it was nice knowing she was seeking him out for comfort. It was a new feeling to him, to actually feel wanted by someone. Inside he realized that it wasn’t a good idea to get used to it, eventually she’d leave him. They always did seem to go away.

Rahadi slowly inched closer until she had her placed on to her chest. The lioness nodded as she listened to his words. Of course some of the lionesses were weary of Scar leading the pride. Unsure if he could do the job, but she tried to tell them everything would be okay. I've already know you'll do fine. A soft purr rumbled through her chest, nuzzling under his chin. Yet the show of effection soon stopped as he asked her about how she felt. I feel better than a few days ago, yet everyonce and awhile I'll spie something that reminds me of it. I'm just trying to get my mind off of it, I never was very close to him. To tell you the truth I've only spoke with him a few times. Sighing, she stood up, her eyes glancing over. The moon shining down over the savanah, out past Leopard Rock. Shall we take a walk? she asked as she went to move down the side of the rock face. Flicking her tassil through the air, she leaped on to the soft dirt below. Her pads starting to move, walking along side of Taka.
[Jay can we have them mate or something?]

He stiffened up briefly as she rested her head on his chest, but soon grew used to the feeling. Relaxing himself a bit the male enjoyed her comforting touch. It was something he had yet to get used to, most lionesses completely avoided him. As she mentioned her situation he nodded slightly in approval.
“Indeed. Sometimes I randomly remember things and feel so sick inside. I miss them both so very much..”
His voice completely choked up at this point, whether it be from true grief or fake he did not know. A few tears welled up into his eyes and one fell down his cheek, but otherwise he didn’t start crying. As she moved to stand up and get off of the rock, he watched her. Those charming eyes of his crinkling up a bit as she mentioned going for a walk. It would be relaxing to enjoy the night with someone else. Standing up he easily made his way down the dark slopes of the rock and onto the ground. Absently he shook the dirt from his fur and moved to brush up against her in a affectionate manner.
“I surely do hope that someday I can be treated like a ruler and not just a weakling. Anyway, my dear, how is your sister faring? I do worry a lot for her.”
Scar always did have a soft spot for Sarabi, she was one of his cubhood friends. Even if they weren’t friends now he was still relatively concerned for her mental state. Gently, he rubbed his head against Rahadi’s and gave a soft growling purr, hoping to win over her affections.

Rahadi brushed her tassil against his back as he rubbed beside her. Smiling, she stayed in stride with him as they walked. Flicking her ears to all the sounds around them, it was nice to be alone. It made her heart soar to be beside her friend. It made her fell content to be with someone who she was close too. He was taking her sisters spot tonight. Her swamp green orbs glanced at Scar as he asked about her sister. A half smile found her features. She's doing some what better. Still she is taking it hard, she has lost so much. I've been trying to comfort her, it helps a little. It's nice of you to be ask of her well-being. That right there was prouf that there was good in him. Not that Rah doughted it any, it's just that it proves some of the other's wrong. Scar wasn't that bad, was he? Still Rahadi didn't question her judgment of him. The lovly lioness was suprised that Scar was showing any affection. She gave her own little purr back to his, a smile on her face. Then she felt the slightly urge to flirt with the brute. Rahadi lightly rubbed his side, sliding her tail under his chin. Rubbing against his shoulder, she purred, nuzzling under his chin. I wonder do you know how I feel about you? I'm actual very found of you Taka. she said closing her eyes as she kept her head against his chest.

He listened absently as she spoke of her sister, that she was doing a bit better now. That was a good sign, he didn’t want the pride to remain depressed forever. His eyes flickered soundlessly around as the two continued to walk, the night air was soothing to his frazzled nerve’s. Even though he was now the King of these lands he still had to prove his worth to his birth pride—and the rest of the animals in the Kingdom. It was a lot of baggage to walk around with, and he hoped that in time the lionesses would at least like him. Being that he was the unwanted son, they thought that he was unworthy of the title. Scar had tried to ignore those whispers while growing up, but he had become depressed and weird. This was another reason why many lion’s did not trust him very much. Exhaling briefly, the male turned to rub his head against Rahadi’s, trying to make himself feel a bit better.
“Well it’s good to know that Sarabi is faring better..”
He murmured gently to the lioness as she lightly ran her tail underneath his chin. A low growl escaped his jaws and the male lion moved forward with more affectionate intentions. The delicate scent of her season tickled the back of his throat, making him more aware of what she may want with him. After all the pride was in need of new life, baby cubs would bring the lionesses back together as a stronger unit.
“Rahadi would you be willing to bare my cubs..”
Scar whispered softly to her, his body stilled as he watched her with a keen interest. If she said no he would not force her into mating. He doubted she would turn him down however.

Rahadi purred as she rubbed against his shoulder, happy to be able to share his warmth. Her ears twitched as he started to speach. A soft smile started to round the corners of her mouth, her eyes bouncing with joy. How she had thoughts to him fathering her cubs, yet she never thought it would come true. But some how, right this second, Scar asked the words she had been waiting to hear. The lioness lightly licked his cheek, Of course I'd bare your cubs. Rahadi stood up, she started to walk through the grass. Her tail held high, low chuffs ran through her chest. Oh course the lioness wanted cubs, she always thought of it but never could find a male. It made her heart soar to think her first litter would be given to her by Taka, a friend of hers for many years. Wandering through the grass, she soon stopped. Rahadi traveled a little father away from PrideRock, not wanting to be disturbed by a hyena nor one of her pridesisters. Purring, she rubbed Scar lightly with her side. Her body lowered to the ground, turning around to chuff at Taka. She swung her tail out of the way, allowing him to have her.

He was pleasantly surprised with her answer, and the prospect of becoming a father was a joyous one. Of course he wasn’t going to ask her to be his Queen, but he would see what sort of offspring she bore him. If a suitable cub was born he would pronounce him to be the heir and have the traditional ceremony. Green eyes narrowed silently as he watched the lioness before him, feeling her brush up against him in a gentle loving manner. A soft look crossed his normally stoic face, he allowed her to position herself properly. Moving over her silently he placed his paws at her sides, and lightly bit at her scruff, mounting her he swiftly did his business. Trying his hardest to not hurt her more then necessary, afterwards he leapt off before she could swat at him. Without hesitation the dark hued lion moved to lay down beside her in the cool grass.
“If you bare me a son Rahadi he will be the next King of these lands. If you have daughters they will be high ranked and taught the ways of royalty..”
Murmuring this gently he rubbed his head against her’s in a very uncharacteristic manner. Afterwards he curled his larger frame next to hers to get some much wanted and needed sleep. He wondered now that the deed was done, what the pride would think of her actions. For now it wasn’t much to consider but it was in the back of his head. Turning his head he rubbed his cheek against her head as he began to drift off. For once the voices that haunted his mind were quiet, and all seemed right in the world.

The vixen waited for him to finish, finally happy to be able to bare cubs. The lioness cuddled up next to him as he layed down. She looked up at him and smiled. I'm just happy to be with you Taka. she said sweetly. She purred lightly as they rubbed their heads together. A smile was placed on her features as she listened to his heartbeat as he fell asleep. It ran through her mind about telling Sarabi, wondering if she'd be happy for her. Yawning, she rested her head in his mane. She too, started to drift asleep.
